The Million Dollar Fish competition, now in its ninth year, captivates anglers from around the world with the promise of landing the elusive tagged barramundi worth a staggering $1 million. This year, history was made as Keegan Payne, a teenager from the NT town of Katherine, reeled in the coveted prize on the Katherine River. Mr. Payne’s remarkable achievement marks the first time in the competition’s history that a territory angler has secured the top prize.
