Bluewater Fishing Classic

Airnorth is pleased to announce that we are continuing our sponsorship of the Cooper’s Blue Water Classic for 2023. The Cooper’s Blue Water Classic is the Darwin Trailer Boat Club’s flagship fishing event. This event, now in its 22nd year attracts over 200 participants. The contestants come from all over the Northern Territory and range from very serious anglers to families enjoying a weekend on the water. Fishing commences 4am Friday 6th October 2023 and anglers will be on the lookout for 15 species of fish plus the Sailfish and Marlin. Points are given out by the kilo of each species caught and there is a special Grand Slam jackpot for competitors or teams who catch one each 15 species. Presentation night is Saturday 21st October 2023 from 6pm where the prize winners will be announced.
