Airnorth to recommence a Gove Saturday service

Airnorth has been operating Jet services linking Darwin, Gove and Cairns for almost two years. These services commenced when Qantas exited this market and Airnorth stepped in to provide a seamless transition of Jet air services, carrying Qantas codeshare, for the community.

Airnorth continually monitors these services and also feedback from the broader community and stakeholders and we are pleased to announce that as part of this ongoing review we will be adding an additional weekly service on a Saturday. This service will commence on 10 September 2016 and be operated in the Embraer E170 Jet.

Airnorth CEO Daniel Bowden said, “This additional service will provide more options for the residents of Nhulunbuy and also those visiting this community.

“This Saturday service means Airnorth will be providing Gove daily Jet services to Darwin and Cairns.

“The new flights will further allow outbound customers from Gove and the wider communities, to directly access Darwin and Cairns with the added Qantas codeshare travel options and associated benefits,” said Mr Bowden.

On sale now, customers can book the Saturday services online at www.airnorth.com.au or via their local travel agent. We encourage residents of Nhulunbuy to subscribe to our electronic newsletter, which can be done via the Airnorth website and this enables first notice for special airfare deals.
