BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Eligible customers are those whose primary residence are within 50km of the Gove Airport and can provide supporting documentation to prove their residential address.
- To access the Locals Fare, you must be registered with Airnorth and receive a confirmation number to enable you and your family to access the Locals Fare.
- You and each member that is registered and resides at the registered address will have access to a maximum of six (6) return airfares per calendar year.
- Trips must originate in the regional port and be a return-trip. No one-way or multi-city trips are permitted, and no other regional ports qualify. Flights are subject to availability.
- Fares are bookable 30 days prior to the departure date and can be used for personal travel only.
- One (1) change per booking can be made 30 days before departure and is FREE – but our normal change conditions and fees apply to changes made within the 30-day period or second or subsequent changes.
- Airnorth reserves the right to request documentation at any time to confirm the residency status of a customer.
- Airnorth reserves the right to cancel bookings found to be in breach of the program’s terms and conditions.
- Flight prices are per person in Australian Dollars. Infants under two (2) years of age are eligible to fly free of charge with an accompanying adult.
- Prices and Bookings are not guaranteed until payment is made.
- Bookings are made through the Airnorth Reservations centre only. 1800 627 474.
- Fares are subject to change at any time.
- Airnorth reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Locals Fare at any time.

Q: Is the program only available to Gove locals?
A: The Locals Fare is available to verified residents that live within 50km of the Gove Airport; Gove, Yirrkala, and Ski Beach (Gunyangara).
Q. Where can I fly to?
A. The Locals Fare is only available for return travel from Gove to Darwin.
Q: How do I register?

Q: How do you verify my details?
A: Airnorth may ask for proof of residency in the form of a Driver’s License, Proof of Age card and/or another applicable photo ID.
Q: Where can I purchase airfares?

Q: Are there any blackout periods?
A: The Locals Fare is available for travel 30 days prior to departure and subject to availability. Some peak flights may not be available.
Q: Can I purchase anytime?
A: The purchase of your return flights must be made at least 30 days prior to your departure date.
Q: Can I purchase a one way airfare now and my return date later?
A: The Locals Fare can only be purchased from Reservations with a confirmed departure and return date.
Q: How many airfares can I purchase per year?
A: Each verified Gove Local will be eligible to apply for up to six (6) return Gove to Darwin airfares.
Q: Is my seat confirmed?
A: Yes.
Q: Do I still receive other benefits such as the 20 kilos checked luggage and complimentary refreshments.
A: Yes.
Q: Can I change my flight when booking the Locals Fare?
A: Name, Date and Cancellations may incur charges.
Q: What aircraft services the Locals Fare?
A. The Locals Fare only applies to Airnorth jet services between Gove and Darwin.
Q: Is the Locals Fare available for my whole family?
A: All registered and verified family members that reside at the same address will have access to the Locals Fare program.

Q: What if I move from Gove, can I still use my Locals Fare?
A: The Locals Fare is designed to help make air travel more affordable for the locals of Gove. If you have moved permanently from the area, you will be no longer be eligible to redeem.
