Ground Handling Services

Airnorth welcomes operators who require the services of a ground handling agent at Darwin International Airport

Airnorth has experience handling a wide range of aircraft types including turboprops, narrow-body jets and large helicopters.  Whether your requirement is for a single ad-hoc transit or a regular scheduled service to/from Darwin, Airnorth can offer the following services:

  • Check-in and boarding of passengers using either the Amadeus Customer Management DCS or other customised procedures
  • Preparation of paperwork for load control
  • Arrange airside access for aircrew and provide facilities for flight planning and obtaining updated weather information
  • Load and unload baggage, cargo (bulk loading)
  • Liaise with Customs, Immigration Quarantine (CIQ) and other authorities as required
  • Toilet and water servicing
  • Aircraft pushback and towing
  • Catering and aircraft cleaning with local providers
