New Sunday Flights Now Available
More choice between Alice Springs, Cairns and Perth
Airnorth has introduced a new Sunday jet service, giving travellers even more flexibility to explore some of Australia’s most iconic destinations. Operating from 5 April to 20 December 2026, the additional service increases capacity across the network, offering four direct flights each week between Alice Springs, Cairns and Perth.
The new Sunday service opens up more opportunities for short breaks, extended weekends and seamless connections, making travel between these destinations easier and more convenient. Whether you’re drawn to the tropical energy of Cairns, the coastal lifestyle of Perth or the ancient landscapes and cultural experiences of Central Australia, there are now even more ways to plan your next escape.
For leisure travellers, the additional service creates greater choice and flexibility when planning around weekends and holidays. For business travellers and those visiting friends and family, it provides added convenience and stronger connectivity across Northern Australia.
The new flights also support easier access to some of the region’s standout experiences — from reef and rainforest adventures in Far North Queensland, to Perth’s vibrant food and coastal scene, and the Red Centre’s extraordinary natural beauty, including the MacDonnell Ranges, Kings Canyon and Uluru.
Now is the perfect time to take advantage of the added flexibility and start planning your journey.
Airnorth continues to invest in connectivity that supports tourism, community and choice — helping more travellers experience the remarkable destinations across our network.
