More Tuesdays to Alice Springs
New services. More connections.
From 1 September 2026, Airnorth is adding more Tuesday services across Central Australia, providing greater choice for residents, businesses, resources-sector travellers and visitors.
The expanded schedule begins with a fourth weekly same-day return service between Darwin and Tennant Creek.
From 22 September, the Tuesday service will extend through to Alice Springs, creating an additional weekly connection between Darwin, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs.
A new Tuesday return service between Perth and Alice Springs will also commence from 22 September, increasing Airnorth’s direct services between the two destinations to five each week.
Together, the new services will add more than 4,000 seats across Central Australia during the trial period.
Darwin to Tennant Creek
Starting 1 September
Airnorth’s new Tuesday service provides a fourth weekly same-day return connection between Darwin and Tennant Creek.
The additional frequency gives locals, businesses and the resources sector greater flexibility when travelling between the two destinations.
