Airnorth launches Green Season fares

As part of its commitment to the development of tourism in the Kimberley region, Airnorth released its Green Season fares, flying between Broome, Kununurra and Darwin, valid now until 28 March 2010.

The Green Season fares aim at encouraging travel and tourism across the Top End of Australia during the months from November to April. The fares are a great opportunity to experience the extraordinary Top End weather during the wet season (November to April] and experience the most modern and sophisticated aircraft flying the Top End and the Kimberley.

Airnorth’s schedule is perfect for a weekend escape or a week-long break. Passengers wishing to add accommodation to their Green Season fares can now take advantage of off-season accommodation rates. For more information go to Australia’s North West

Airnorth has a long history in flying the Darwin to Kununurra and Broome routes, having commenced services from Darwin and Kununurra in the late 1990s. Last year Airnorth purchased another Embraer E170 regional jet, which entered the fleet in April.

The new aircraft has brought the total investment in Airnorth’s jet acquisition program to more than

$70 million to date, with more expected to come in the next few years.

Green Season fares from $176; subject to availability; conditions apply.
