Garma Festival

Airnorth is delighted to continue its long-term sponsorship of Garma Festival, Australia’s leading Indigenous cultural exchange event. Garma is a celebration of the Yolngu people’s cultural, artistic and ceremonial traditions. Held over four days in remote Arnhem Land, guests are immersed in the rich cultural heritage of Yolngu hosts, experiencing traditional miny’tji (art), ancient story-telling, manikay (song) and bunggul (dance). The Garma gathering brings together business leaders, international political leaders, intellectuals, academics, and journalists to discuss Australia’s most pressing issues. Garma Festival starts on 29 July and ends on 1 August.
