GOVE COMMUNITY MARKETS
The Nhulunbuy Corporation Community Markets are run most months throughout the year and are generally held at the Nhulunbuy Town Hall or Town Centre on Saturday mornings between 9am-12pm. In the cooler months the markets are sometimes held on the lawn at the Gove Peninsula Surf Lifesaving Club or the Gove Country Golf Club.
Market vendors at the Community Markets sell a range of items showcasing the diversity of the region and can include local Indigenous art, photography, homewares, jewellery, giftware and clothing. The food also attracts a lot of people with the smells and tastes from various cuisines on offer, reflecting the diversity of the Nhulunbuy community.
