Major sponsorships:
Tour de Timor
In 2009 Airnorth was a major sponsor of the inaugural Tour de Timor, a 450-kilometre, five-day cycle race that has been a long-standing dream of Timor-Leste’s President, José Ramos-Horta. The Tour began on Monday 24 August and ended on Saturday 29 August 2009. Airnorth provided free airfares to approximately 200 riders and their immediate support team, as well as to media. More than 300 riders from 15 countries participated in the Tour de Timor, which proved to be the world’s most gruelling mountain bike challenge, across nine of the 13 districts of Timor-Leste. Airnorth will again sponsor the Tour de Timor in 2010.

Airnorth has been the naming right sponsor of the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience since 2006 and prior to that, naming right sponsor of the “Airnorth Ord Valley Muster” from 2003-2005.
